Some answers to your post.
I think the league is doing fine, and I'm in for the long run. I'm willing to pay for my share league dues, since our insane former commish is apparently keeping our shares.
Paypal is my method of choice here.
AS for changes:
1. Waiver - I'm fine with 1 day at minimum.
2. Scoring - 5x5 is good
3. Roster spots - I'd like to have at least one DL slot. I also wouldnt mind using minors as long as they dont increase our overall roster much. One or two max. As for the standard roster I think we're good.
4. Keepers - I like 8 as a keeper number.
5. Value - I like incrementing their value every year.
For $1 studs, I think we should gain the benefit of good picking (or luck), but not indefinately. Not sure what to do there, but we have time to decide.
There should probably be some incremental value for each year you hold a player, with that increment increasing more at the lower end, e.g. x2 for 1-5, x1.5 for 6-10, x1.4 for 11-15, x1.3 for 16-20, x1.2 for 21-30, x1.1 for 31 and higher. I'm not sure about setting a "Market value"
As for players picked up on waivers, their value should be
$1 (or whatever the incremental value of the players is decide to be) They were cut and the original manager already ate the contract.
6. Deadline - We need to keep an eye on the calendar and judge based on how long it took us last year, plus at least a week leeway. I'd like to be done as close to the season as possible, but I also dont want to be rushed at the end.
7. Minor league guys - if they arent' in the DB I'd rather not fool with them.
8. No other changes that I can see for now.
