I hope none of you take offense to my recent posts and emails, but my point doesn't seem to be hitting home on a lot of fronts.
Please just take care of your business, follow the rules laid out, and all will go smoothly. Right now its not, and I'm certainly not enjoying what should be the best part of the season, next to dominating all of you in the standings!

Smokey just suggested a viable alternative to the current method to prevent such issues from arising. He's as interested in fairness and valid bidding as anyone.
What if I as commish, and/or the draft helpers, be the only ones to nominate players.....say posting 10 or something at a time...no starting point of $1....and leave them there for 12 hours. No bids means they're back in the pool later....bids reset the clock as normal.
As I said before, I can't be on 24/7, and neither can you. But this will eliminate some problems. I just hate seeing the fairness of the auction suffer with legal bids on top of illegal ones like Hafner and Wily Mo affect all of us.
Thoughts?
